Instructions:

Windows XP & Vista:
  1. View the picture you wish in the resolution that matches your monitor display.
  2. Right+Click the image and select "Set as Desktop Background" from the dropdown menu.
  3. From the "Position" dropdown select "center".
  4. Color: choose a color that best suits the desired image (I use Black).
  5. Then Click "Set Desktop Background".
Mac OS 9:
  1. View the picture you wish in the resolution that matches your monitor display.
  2. Control+Click and select "Save this Image as" to your Mac.
  3. Go to Apple Menu > Control Panel and select "Appearance".
  4. Select "Place Picture" and locate the appropriate picture.
  5. Click "Set Desktop".
Mac OS X:
  1. View the picture you wish in the resolution that matches your monitor display.
  2. Control+Click and select "Download image to Disk".
  3. Save image to desktop.
  4. Got to Apple menu > System Preferences > Personal section and select "Desktop".
  5. On the "Collection" pulldown menu, go to "Choose Folder" and locate the appropriate picture.
