Selecting Preferences
You may control the number of organizations that display in your events section, by clicking on Preferences at the bottom of the www.wiktel.com  community home page.  You may also put a light gray background on the events section of the home page in order to reduce the brightness.

Our Recommendations

Selecting no preferences:  You don't need to select any preferences. If not you will get all of the events of interest to the general public for participating organizations in NW Minnesota and NE North Dakota. After looking at the general events, select Sports in "Find By Activity" to see the sporting events.  Then use "Find Events for:" to narrow the events down to your home town, or to a particular organization.

Regions:  You may narrow the number of events that are displayed.  Select a region that covers most of the organizations that you would like to see.  We recommend selecting a wide region like NW-MN, or NE-ND, but you can narrow the display of events to a smaller region.  The towns in each region are listed below. You might want to first see your local region, then use Find Events for:  All to see the entire wiktel region of NW Minnesota and NE North Dakota.

Organizations:  When you select an organization, you will get all of the events of that organization, both those for the general public and those for members only.  You may want to use "Find Events for:"  for organizations when you want to see all events posted for that organization only. Sports:  are organized in their own section, and you must use "Find By Activity" to see the professional sports, unless you look for it in Find Events for: Other[city], and pick that organization.  You can have sports listed in your general events listing if you select those organizations in your preferences.  For example:  Selecting "All" for regions and MN Timberwolves and MN Wild for organizations, you will get all of the events for the region plus those two sports teams.  Look for local sports in the regular "Sports" section of the home page.
