Middle River was incorporated on April 4, 1905. Since then the city has continued to thrive as a business center for eastern Marshall County. Residents of Middle River enjoy the many benefits of small-town living while also having such services as 24 hour fire protection and local ambulance availability. The City of Middle River provides its residents with municipal water, sewer and waste management services at a nominal monthly fee. Area utility companies provide electric, telephone and cable TV service. Local internet services are also available. Spruce Valley Community Center is available for various activities and meetings. |
