 Whether it is relaxing by the fire or watching the grandkids at the
pool, Warren has a complete family-oriented recreational complex. Summer recreation includes a 9-hole grass green golf course, two tennis
courts, one basketball court, indoor and outdoor horseshoe pits, five
softball diamonds, paved bike trails, rifle range, and a summer youth
program. The jewel in the crown of the Warren parks system is
Holiday Park. It features an Olympic-sized outdoor pool, open
Memorial Day to Labor Day, 65 campsites including 50 with electrical and
water hookups, 20 with electrical, water and sewer, a dump station,
shower facilities, and a play structure. Local snowmobile trails
are connected to the regional system. Also available are an indoor
ice skating rink, cross-country ski trails, bowling, and fitness center.
The Wetland, Pines and Prairie Audubon Sanctuary with a full-time staff
naturalist is located nearby. |
